“Food Law and Agenda 2030” is an “Intensive School on Cisg, Food Law & Sustainability” (ISAGS) developed and conceived at the University of Pavia and its Department of Law.
It is intended for PhD students, lawyers and professionals. The openness of this scientific activity is directed to areas that are not only legal but also multidisciplinary or related to food and sustainability issues.
It will analyse the interplay between new legal and social challenges, including Food Law issues, Agenda 2030 and the international legal transaction of economic exchanges in the framework of the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Under the scientific direction of Prof. Alfredo Ferrante, “Food Law and Agenda 2030” will be developed in 3 modules, on 15, 16 and 17 October 2024.
The first module, of 4 hours, will be devoted to the critical analysis and theoretical foundations of the general contents.
The second and third modules will be frontal lectures analysing more specific issues through an event that will bring together the most detached jurists, who will gather in Pavia from various parts of the world.
